5 Ways with Moon Water, and MORE - Magickal Monday
Collecting and creating Moon Water is super simple, and there are just SO many ways to work with it!
Collecting/ Creating:
Find a container - preferably glass, and make certain it is clean
Fill it with pure water (pre-boiling the water helps it stay fresher)
Seal the jar (keep bugs and nasties out)
Place in the moonlight (even if it’s cloudy out, the moon’s energy will infuse the water)
Leave overnight
Collect before the sun’s rays touch the water in the morning
store in a dark place.
*If using for eating or drinking, use it as soon as possible - the water can and will spoil over time.
5 WAYS WITH MOON WATER
1. RITUALS: Moon water is a powerful additive to spell or ritual work. Remember it is possible to create it within any phase of the moon, as such, the attributes of the phase of the moon will help with the intentions of rituals and spells.
2. COOK AND BAKE: You can use Moon water to cook and bake! Again, should you be preparing a meal or baking with a specific intention, using moon water in the place of normal water in the recipe will help advance the intention of the outcome. Our friend Tim from @theseventhdoor, makes a wonderful Full Moon Soup, with his Moon Water each cycle. You can take a look here. You can also find him in our creators Circle, as the creator of Medusa’s Mirrors
3. PLANT LOVE: Watering or spritzing your house plants (they may likely not see natural rain or moonlight often) gives them a great boost!
4. DRINKS: Tea and coffee are so much a part of our lives, and infusing them with Moon water, collected in whichever phase you may have needed it, will give your favorite hot beverage an extra lil’ magickal kick. This is a firm favorite with our WS team!
5. BEAUTY INFUSIONS: Decanting your Moon Water into a small amber spray bottle to use as a face toner or spritz is a wonderful/magickal pick-me-up in the day, or just before bed.
But wait there’s more!
