Let me start this reading out by saying, when the universe throws two of the same cards at you, we are trying to get your attention. PAY ATTENTION. Or else you may be paying with something else!

Geodes are beautiful stones that are often found in the bottom of river beds. The roll along with the current, slowly accumulating minerals and gaining their characteristic round shape. One of the most exciting things in the world is being the first person to witness a crystalline form for the first time. When geodes break open s their energy is directly connected with ours. We will forever be the first person to have witnessed their beauty! That is a special moment and we can always know the purity of the energy to call on in our workings.

9 of pentacles reversed is a card of wealth and abundance. Since it shows up in this reading twice, once upright and once reversed it is necessary to take a serious look at how your relationship with finances are. You might be bringing in a bunch of money, but it flows out just as quickly because of poor spending choices, or living beyond your means. Address the reality of the situation, and don’t delude yourself. My partner always say, watch you pennies, and your dollars will watch themselves! and its true. Don’t bleed away your wealth, you’ve worked so hard to create it. You’re nearly at the top of your game, don’t fall back down now!

The world is a card that represents the forces of life, and the completion of cycles. If you are a business owner, or working on a passion project, you are close to accomplishing your goals. Congratulations! Know in your heart that you are on the right path. One of my favorite authors, Esther Hicks talks about getting from Phoenix to San Diego. You can get there any way you choose, however you’ll never get there is you keep doubting your directions and turning back. Theoretically you could continue turning back and forth between the two places, never getting anywhere! Sure, that’s one way to stay busy! But don’t let that be your way.

These powerful little journals hold the color magick of plants, imparted in a way that will hold their mark forever. The beauty of journaling is that is does this for our transient emotions. We can catch the flash of ephemeral movement in a way that will help guide us for our future travels. The inner mind is much like the process of coaxing dye from plant matter. It is hidden from view until treated with expert hands, pulling drops of color (emotions) from hidden places. Let it pour out and see what happens!

The sun is a card that always has a positive connotation. Its like divinity smiling down upon you! Rejoice is what this card call you to do! Know that the sunshine will be pouring into your life and spring is right around the corner. You have a lot to celebrate, maybe now would be a great time to count your blessings and share your gratitude with someone you love. There has been a time for sorrow, and now the snow is melting. Remember the beauty of life and prepare for wildflowers!

The moon reversed calls you to find comfort in acknowledging your shadow self. Know that you are a whole person, dark and light; we all go through period and phases just like the moon. Her energy may wax and wain, but that does not take away from her wholeness. This is also a card of calling back your power. You may have energy reaching far and wide. Now you need to call those tendrils back into yourself so you may have full access to your power. If you find yourself feeling spread too thin, look at what areas of life you need to pull back from. Sometimes saying nothing is making a choice.

Three of swords reversed is a card of releasing heartache. Allow yourself to let go of those things that seem too heavy. You have shouldered the weight valiantly, celebrate your strength! Release what no longer holds relevance in your life and you will be stronger for it. It does not show weakness to forgive, but rather it shows that you love yourself enough to allow space for happiness. Let the weight melt off of our soul, just like the coming spring melts the snow and brings rains. Tears are sometimes the best medicine for they water flowers of the spirit.

Foxes are creatures of duality. They hold the power to kill but also they are intensely protective and nurturing. Just because they can, does not mean they will. For me, the teeth hold the most power out of all bones. They are used for eating, tearing flesh. They show power and prowess; emanate beauty. They reveal our true intentions. The most emotional of the bones, sharing smiles or fear, even anger.

The chariot shows up when you are victorious, able to grab life by the reins and ride to your conquest. Its a card of motion and transitions as well. You will not accomplish your goals by standing by idly. If you are facing a conflict of any sort, this card tells you to act rather than react. Don’t let your opponent dictate the rules of engagement. Set up clear boundaries, and rules so there is no room for miscommunication.

The fool reversed means that you are possibly acting nieve or indecisive. You might feel unprepared for the task at hand, but setting off without clear intentions is not the way to go about things. That sort of energy only invites chaos, and you will surely be off-balance.

When we see the tower, red flags and flashing lights tend to go off. Truly this is a card of intense change. SCARY CHANGE. That does not necessarily mean negative outcomes. It just means you need to make the change before the universe makes it for you. Shit is about to hit the fan, so make sure you don’t get covered in it. When engaging with the tower, it is best to let the shift do the talking. I mean the energy shift, what is that deep gut feeling you’ve been ignoring because it’s inconvenient? How can you address that head-on, instead of waiting for the world to come crumbling down around you? Don’t be afraid, but don’t sit and wait for the situation to fester and get worse, because it will.
