Welcome back to another Tarot Tuesday reading!
If you feel called to participate, take a few deep breaths and allow your mind to come to settle onto a pile of cards. Once you have chosen, scroll down to see your reveal and the interpretation! Be sure to let us know how we did, we love hearing from you and getting feedback!
For this reading, we chose an antique jar full of dirt, a rose quartz palm stone, and a small piece of burnt cedar wood. The decks used are The Many Queens Tarot and the Fountain Tarot.
We hope it resonates with you!!
1.///strength, jar of dirt, the fountain, 7 of pentacles rx
For this reading, we are using a jump card. This means it flew out of the pile while we were drawing the cards for this reading. It will be considered in every pile for an overall tone of the reading. Strength is a card that relates to inner challenges and struggles. It calls you to master your inner deamons and doubts.
The jar of dirt can be taken a couple different ways. To me, dirt relates to our roots and ancestors. Those who lay in the ground. Since this is a bottle found in an antique trash dig, it is filled with old dirt. Bottles represent potential and storage, but also baggage. We can use them in spell work to curse or heal. These empty vessels are great representations of our spirits. We decide how they are filled, and with what contents.
For this deck includes an extra card, known as the fountain. You might notice its number count is infinity. It represents the unlimited potential of life and the wellspring of spirit we are all born into. I see it as outside the fools journey, in an universal sort of way. All encompassing and all know, this card holds all the potential, very much like the 5th dimension. All possibility is open, and all roads are clear. All you have to do is decide.
The seven of pentacles normally means tending to your investments and ideas, as well as having follow through. When reversed it tells us that the energy needed to accomplish these goals may be scattered, or you might be lacking the necessary follow through needed. Sometimes having too many options and unlimited choices can be a bit too much to deal with. Take some time and decided what it is that you really want, without the pressure of your ego.
2.///strength, rose quartz, king of swords rx, 3 of pentacles rx
For this reading, we are using a jump card. This means it flew out of the pile while we were drawing the cards for this reading. It will be considered in every pile for an overall tone of the reading. Strength is a card that relates to inner challenges and struggles. It calls you to master your inner deamons and doubts.
Rose quartz, as we know, is a stone that promotes all things love. Perfect for the upcoming holiday. It reminds us to focus on the positive, uplifting aspects of life. The soft energy this stone provides helps to encourage our relationships (including the one with ourselves) to flourish and be strong. Take a moment to ask yourself what areas you can allow rose quartz to activate in your life. Is it your self love, your craft, your friendships? Take a moment and see what part of your life needs more love.
The king of swords reversed is a card that suggest you may be less of a loud leader, but are still able to accomplish your goals though persuasion and not force. This card calls you to find strength in your introverted nature, allowing your emotions and intuition to help guide you as a leader. Less aggression and action oriented directions, and more intuitive and thoughtful guidance. It could also
3 of Pentacles reversed is a card that says you might be having trouble with your work ethic or motivation. In order to reap the benefits your must dedicate yourself fully to the task at hand, and not allow distraction or self doubt to get in the way. Your goals are very important, don’t let imposter syndrome or your inner critic take control. Be gentle with yourself and know that you are capable of achieving what you desire, you just have to put the effort in.
3.///strength, burnt cedar, six of cups, 8 of pentacles rx
For this reading, we are using a jump card. This means it flew out of the pile while we were drawing the cards for this reading. It will be considered in every pile for an overall tone of the reading. Strength is a card that relates to inner challenges and struggles. It calls you to master your inner deamons and doubts.
Cedar is one of my favorite plants to use for cleansing. It not only removes the negative energy, but allows the positive to remain. It like looking on the bright side, or for the silver lining. Sometimes once we can look past the obvious negatives and let go of our ego baggage, we can find some really beautiful lessons. Don’t throw the baby out with the bathwater as they say!
The six of cups is a card of innocence, joy and past experiences. Its a card to look to when the present moment seems dark and you’ve lost touch with the reason to keep moving forward. Fall back to those better times, and the bigger picture. Remember what has brought you joy in the past, and know that it will be here for you when you need it most. Find comfort in the small things, and enjoy living life through childlike eyes.
8 of pentacles reversed is a card that relates to stale finances or employment. Possibly you are feeling stuck in a dead-end job, or that all your hard work is going to waste. Instead of dwelling on the negative, see what stepping stones this current situation can offer you, even if its a lateral move. Sometimes all that is needed is a change of perspective and that can help to breath new life into a situation. You have done so much hard work to get to this point. Don’t begin to doubt yourself or your power now. Be strong and make the changes you need to be happy with your situation.
