1.///shepherd’s purse, 5 of swords, the devil, 6 of pentacles

This common herbs grows world wide, but has little know medicinal properties. It is most frequently used as a styptic, which stops bleeding. It is also known as mother’s heart because it is helpful for regulating women’s cycles and useful for women entering menopause. It has small heart shaped seed pods which open like a purse when squeezed. It relates to women, but also to finances.

The five of swords is a card that represents defeat or surrender. It can also be related to poor communication and hostility. If you are currently in a relationship, this card speaks to troubles and likely arguments. However, it can also represent hard won victories. So if you are currently fighting, know that any positive outcome will be a hard fought battle. Sometimes surrender is the best option. This card can also be indicative of a deep personal struggle, possibly with addiction (when sitting next to the devil). Know that struggle often represents resistance to change and the flow of the universe. Lay down your arms and surrender to the flow or continue to struggle as the current will continue to unrelentingly flow.

The devil is a card that speaks to addiction, and fear of power. This card shows up when you are giving something or someone else power over you. It calls you to realize that you are the only one in control of your actions and by refusing to take responsibility for your life, you will continue to struggle under the oppression of outside forces. Realize the illusion of fear and how it keeps you in the cycle of victim-oppressor. Claim your power back by taking accountability for your choices.

Six of pentacles is a card of giving and receiving. It also relates to finances. This card relates to charity and giving, but also to justice and financial stability. If you are in a position to help those less fortunate than yourself, always do so. Giving can help open doors as well as boost your manifestation ability. Also in terms of love, give and it shall be returned to you 3 fold.

2./// aragonite, the devil, 7 of swords, 4 of pentacles

Aragonite is stone that sparks creative energy. It looks like a ball full of crystalline energy sparking outwards. This stone helps us to find inspiration when times get difficult. It is also a stone that brings things to the surface that we may be trying to ignore. Any shadow emotions may be coming up during this time. Each little pillar radiates out centrally from one source. This can represent how one root issue can manifest many different ways in your life.

When this card, the seven of swords, shows up it can indicate deception. Someone may be trying to manipulate you, or vise versa. Avoid things that sound too good to be true, because a pitfall usually awaits on the other side. In relationships it can also mean cheating, or not being forthcoming with the truth. Also, it can indicate denial or a refusal to address certain problems in your own life.

The four of pentacles shows a person who is tight with their money. Possibly operating from a lack mindset. Holding onto anything tightly is a sure way to strangle the flow of energy. Be resourceful, but don’t be afraid to let go of control and see what happens.

3./// turkey feathers, the fool rx, 5 of pentacles rx, the star rx

Turkeys are some of the most resourceful and cunning birds. They sometimes elude even the most seasoned hunters. They represent abundance, fertility, and a connection with ancestors. They can also help us with dream work and astral travel, carrying messages to the other worlds.

The fool represents a new beginnings and travel, and when this card is reversed it can represent an inner journey, or starting a journey on the wrong foot. If you are preparing for actual travels, make sure to take the necessary precautions and be safe. If you are going through an inner journey, now would be a good time to do shadow work to remove any obstacles that might hold you back.

When the 5 of pentacles is reversed it can represent an improvement in your finances or relationship with money. Be sure to not fall back into old patters of thinking from a lack mindset. While you may have taken a dive financially in the past, now is the time to address your situation and see what good can be made of it! Invest your resources wisely and you will be rewarded in the future.

The star reversed might mean your light is a little dulled due to what is going on in the world now. Try to remain positive and focus on love, not fear. Even in the darkest times, there is light to be found. Shift your mind from the chaos and fear of the situation to seeing what good can be made of it. There are two sides to every situation and perspective is everything. Don’t dwell on the things that you cannot change.
