Tarot Tuesday Reveal: May 12, 2020
Welcome back for the reveal of our collective reading! If you haven’t already picked a pile, take a few moments and allow your mind to settle onto one that resonates with you.
For this week we have a bundle of chamomile, a dog-tooth amethyst, and a board tusk. The decks used are the Many Queens Tarot and the Smith-Waite Tarot.
We hope this reading resonates with you, be sure to let us know if it does! We love hearing your feedback.
1.///chamomile, page of wands, 2 of cups rx
Most of use are aware of chamomile’s properties for helping to bring calmness into chaos. it helps sooth the acid of upset stomachs and helps the raging brainwaves become still. It can also bring positivity, and brighten our moods. This humble little plant can be so very helpful during times like these. You can even burn it to promote calm energy. We can allow this plant to bring us into the space we need to be happy and full of sunlight.
The page of wands is a card of innocence, imagination and play. The perfect card to coax your inner child out of its hole and into a blanket fort. Play around with the idea of yourself and where you stand. Look around with the eyes of your younger self! Often a change of perspective is all it takes to bring a little brightness into life again. Do something silly today. Make yourself laugh. Watch your favorite movie. Dance around naked. Paint your face with war paint and go to war with the void-isolation-sadness-whatever you need to declare war on.
The 2 of cups reversed tells us about an imbalance or disharmony in our lives. Something that stands in the way of our happiness and friendship with self. This can cause us to feel alone, even in a crowd. Check in with yourself during times like this. Usually there is something deep down that needs to be addressed, and often it stems from being let down in the past or ignored. The inner child if often the one crying out for love. If you can’t find it within yourself, you will never find it outside of yourself. Take a moment to pause, realize that you are not separate from anything in this world, and that perception is everything. Everything is you and your reflection.
2.///dog-tooth amethyst, ace of pentacles, 3 of pentacles rx
The dog-toothed amethyst is contains small fractures of clear/white quartz, which give its characteristic chevron pattern. It reminds us that our fractures are sometimes the things that make us beautiful. When a change in direction happens; when we have to start over- remember that this is not an ending point. We make turns and zig-zags our whole lives. Like the symbol of the unalome, we never walk a straight line in our spiritual path. We circle back, we spiral upwards or down, come back to center, but we never stop.
Ace of pentacles is a card of new opportunity, beginnings, and potential. Maybe you have just experienced an ending, or are ready to. This card shows us that when one door opens, another one opens. Often disaster and failure lead us here to this point. Back to limitless potential. It opens things up again after fear and failure have closed us off. Like how the wildfire makes way for the new growth and offers fertilizer from the ashes. Every ending is a door way, now is the time to step through and see what awaits on the other side.
3 of pentacles reversed offers a warning for you. Avoid falling into old patterns. Learn from your mistakes. Follow your heart, not your ego. Put in the hard work and pay your dues before expecting to pay your rent. Learn your lessons, or be forced to repeat the same cycles over and over. Evey failure is an opportunity for learning. Be your own greatest teacher.
3.///boar tusk, 7 of swords, king of swords rx
Boars are known for their fierce warrior energy. They are frequently found on the front lines of battle, next to Gods. They are known as a destructive force, but often destruction can bring about change that is much needed. Their energy can be stubborn, and relentless, sometimes moving forward in spite of obstacles that may be presented. Sometimes they can be agents of chaos, bringing destruction blindly, wrapped up in rage.
The seven of swords is a card of deception. It can also point to imposter syndrome. Somethings feel undeserved or out of place. You may be feeling misled, or deceived. This is a card that tells ya to watch your back. Think twice before entering into any new agreements that sound too good to be true. Also be aware of those who may be trying to manipulate you or gaslight you.
When the King of Swords shows up reversed, it can indicate poor leadership. You’ll find tyrannical bosses, and narcissistic folks here. However this can also point to an internalization of poor leadership. Maybe you are having trouble meeting deadlines, staying on task, or accomplishing your goals.
