Citrus is most commonly associated with the sun, summertime and warmth. It can also be connected with the solar plexus, which is our energy center and source of confidence. Its a source of essential vitamins and can be related also to a cheery disposition and happiness. However here, we see the fruit dried up and shriveled, forever preserved in this state of existence.

8 of wands reversed can indicate delays or misdirection. Normally this is an action card, showing movement and change. When reversed it can show a displaced energy, or things falling short of expectations. You may be feeling stuck in place or like your efforts are being wasted. There is a lot going on in the world right now, and sometimes the universe is holding off on action for a reason. Trust your guides and know that there is a time and place for everything. Focus less on spinning your wheels and take this as a change to regroup and recharge.

7 of pentacles reversed shows that your plans and financial state may be in a state of ruin. Plants wither and die on the vine if left too long. Sometimes our plans lack the fertilization needed to become successful. They may grow and grow only to produce bitter fruit, or to be ravaged by pests. We have to understand that setbacks will always happen. Sometimes things fail or die, other times they just need help. How can you remedy this situation you’re currently finding yourself? Know that retreating means you can live to fight another day, charging into a loosing battle with high conviction will only make you a martyr.

As most of us associate rose quartz with love and self love, its a stone that can provide comfort and nurturing vibes for us during hard times. Most of us have a chunk or two laying around, and it can be a helping hand during low levels of energy. Its subtle vibes help to bring up the mood and energy in a room just by being there. Reach out for this babe when things get heavy and you need a hand.

Page of Swords energy is usually a card of new beginnings and energy, but when its reversed it can indicate delays and frustration. Sometimes our heads remain in the clouds so long, we lose sight of reality. Being blissful is wonderful, but not at the expense of escapism. It can cause us to drop the ball and let those who depend on us down.

7 of wands reversed can indicate a feeling of defeat. You may feel like you’ve spent so much of your energy fighting, with nothing to show for it. Pick you battles wisely, and conserve your energy. Its ok to walk away if that is an outcome that will preserve yourself. Don’t let yourself become beat down by the world. You don’t have to defend everyone, sometimes its important to protect yourself. Practice love not war, nurture the wounded parts of your soul.

This turkey claw gives off total Baba Yaga vibes. Traditionally turkeys represented abundance, intelligence, fertility, and ancestors. They are very cunning animals that are hard to capture, and frequently outwit even the most skilled hunters. Claws are the most grounding parts of the bird, representing the grip with the earthy world. They provide a stable place to land and help these birds embrace duality.

Ace of swords is a card that shows up when we break through old cycles, into victorious new ones. The energy here is decisive and clear, like waking up from a dream. You are able to see the world for what it is, and make your way unbounded by the noise. Keep your head high, and walk with strength. You have the path towards victory laid out before you, after a heavy battle.

The ace of cups represents abundance, new love and strong emotions. Water is a force that is powerful, cleansing yet flexible and changing. Don’t allow yourself to fall into rigid belief systems or dogma. Trust your internal voice, and follow your emotions- they are our guidance system. Let yourself soak in the feels and emotions you may be facing right now. Breathe in the fresh air and life that surrounds you.
