1./// pulley, 5 of wands, the moon

Pulleys are wonderful force multipliers. They help ease heavy loads and help you to increase your power. Likely you choose this reading because you hope to amplify your influence. In order to use this tool properly, you must have a good handle on the situation at hand, be holding the ropes (to continue the metaphor). If you don’t have control, things will fly off the wheel and all your handiwork will be undone. Use this to aid the effort you’ve expended already, don’t expect that all your heavy lifting will be done for you.

The 5 of wands is a card that shows many voices with the potential for conflict. Its an action card that calls your to speak your truth in order to come out ahead. However, you need to walk with caution because of the other players in the equation. Possibly this can allude to a work situation, or a social circle. Avoid direct conflict. Especially since this card shows up during Mercury Rx, choose your words carefully. If there is a potential for misinterpretation, this is the time for it. Be assertive, but not manipulative. This situation calls for a leadership role, be the inspiration not the demand. How can you move forward without stepping on toes?

When the moon shows up, it calls you to address your inner secrets and fears. Since the moon is currently in its dark phase, this would be a good time to do shadow work. Lay out your true plans for this situation and address anything that feels triggering. Ask yourself why these feelings may be coming up, and dig deeper. Often times, the cause is our ego. Once you shed light on these shadows, it can help to point you in a direction to move forward more strongly. The less hang ups we have as leaders, the more effectively our voices can be heard. This is a card of lightening strikes of inspiration, scary big ideas, and setting fire to the stagnant energy in your life. Burn our the bullshit. Just do not hesitate and be sure to step forward with the fearless energy of a beginner! You are ready! The road will be rocky and probably hard as hell. Being (re)BORN is not an easy or painless process. You will have to learn to crawl before you can walk; cry before you can talk; and all the while screaming while getting rid of the (bull)shit. Trust the process. You will get there, but you will not be the same. This journey will change you, and it will hurt, but it will be worth it. Jump in, baby!! Look your fears in the face and laugh!

Bells are often associated with angelic energy. Their gentle sounds can clear a room of negativity and drive out darkness. This one is made from brass, which is one of the only metals considered incorruptible by magick. Spirits can communicate through bells, and this bells purpose is to be an indicator for spirit guides meant to be kept in a vehicle. When you hear it ring, you know that you need to pay close attention to what is going on around you. Bell sounds can also be associated with fae energy. Either way, spirits use these to try to gain your attention and to protect you.

3 of wands is a card indicating travel and soul journeys. You are perhaps about to embark on a large trip, or your soul is. Fortune favors the brave! Go out and follow your wanderlust. See what adventures the world has in store for you. Enjoy, but don’t forget to bring your guides along with you! They can help to keep you safe and watch over when you are away from your altar. Don’t loose touch with who you are, and where you came from. Its easy to get swept off your feet where you lack familiar surroundings.
