We hope this reading resonates with you, be sure to let us know if it does! We love hearing your feedback!
1.///Cinnamon, Judgement rx, Justice, 10 of cups
Cinnamon is a super useful kitchen herb, that has varied uses magickally. It corresponds with protection, love, prosperity and passion. It can also be used in spells to quicken the desired outcome. It relates to matters of the heart and spirit, bringing warmth and comfort when it is most needed. Its smell can bring feelings of cozier times warming our hearts and invigorating our senses. It is even used medicinally in Ayurveda traditions to bring better circulation and help us breathe easier in times of sickness.
When Judgement shows up rx it can indicate some harsh realities or personal criticism, as well as self doubt. Usually, it is a sign that you are ignoring your personal intuition or unwilling to address the karmic cycles in your life. If you are a creative person, it could be that you are putting too much weight on your inner critic, or the approval of others. Don’t allow the opinions of those you don’t respect to have weight in your life. Listen to the truth from people who inspire you! If you are facing gossip or judgement from an outsider, know that no matter how you live your life someone will not approve. As the lovely Dita Von Tease puts it “You can be the ripest, juiciest peach in the world, and there's still going to be somebody who hates peaches.”
Justice is a great sign if you are dealing with any outside forces. It brings victory to those who deserve it, and insures those who don’t deserve it will get what’s coming to them. Know that the universe is on your side. This card also speaks to personal balance, and calls you to avoid taking sides. Remain neutral and avoid trying to be judge, jury and executioner. The universe will work out the details, stay in your lane. As with any manifestations, it is best to remain detached from the outcome and trust that your order has been received. It will happen in divine timing.
10 of cups is the perfect resolution to this reading. It is that of union, harmony, happy families, and fulfillment. The universe provides to you in abundance! Rest assured that the outcome will be best for everyone involved. This card shows that your cup has been filled to the brim with goodness, and that hardship has ended. You asked, and you shall receive.
2./// Agate, Emperor Rx, The Knight of Staffs, Page of Cups
Agate is a gentle stone that helps with grounding as well as softens difficult emotions. This stone have a very strong yoni vibe. The inner void filled with a slight darkness, suggests that we dive inward and nurture those parts of ourselves that may need healed. As they layers build in this stone, its beauty increases creating the banding that agates are prized for. This can symbolize the layers of our soul and personality we create throughout our spiritual journey. Embrace the process. Your healing is not a short term renovation, but a life long process. You will never wake up one morning to find yourself “healed”, but rather its a gradual layering of small victories. Celebrate the process and love yourself regardless.
When the Emperor shows up reversed, it can mean an abuse of power or an unbalanced relationship dynamic. Instead of the protective, structured energy, we find controlling, overbearing and hypercritical energy. This can be in a romantic relationship, professional or even a relationship you have with yourself. Look to your life and see where the energy feels forced or stuck. You may find it to feel like beating your head against a wall. Once you can identify this, you can begin to soften the pain. Create a picture of what your ideal leader would be like, and approach the situation from this perspective. Often gentle understanding and respect can accomplish more that forceful direction.
Here we find the Knight of Staffs in the desert, looking rather out of place. This can be compared to a situation that feels fruitless, possibly a dead-end job, a loveless relationship, or a living situation that is toxic. This is an environment no one can flourish. Sometimes it is best to continue your journey elsewhere, seeking a place more hospitable. This is also a card of action, you may be feeling very strong emotions right now and this card speaks to that. Usually this card inspires new journeys, sparks of inspiration and the unknown. Fire is a sign that has a high degree of wanderlust and impulsiveness.
Page of cups is a card of new possibilities, inspiration, whimsy and fun potential. Return to a stay of play and childlike wonder to truly embrace the energy that this card has to offer. Laughter is the best medicine, as they say! Sometimes being frivolous and impulsive is a wonderful way to lift the soul from heart ache. Don’t think too hard and be silly.
3.///Athame, 3 of swords, Queen of Coins, 3 of Swords Rx
Athames are tools for cutting or directing energy. Even though they are shaped like a knife, they are used for non-physical cutting. They help us to focus and direct the unseen energy. Often we use them to represent duality, protection, air, and masculine energy. However, it is always important that it isn’t the tool that does the work, but out intention. We can use something like a finger or a stick (even a butter knife) to the same effect. The power is in you, not your tools!
Ouch, double three of swords in this reading. This typically happens when spirit is really trying to get your attention. 3 of swords tells us that you have been going through some very life changing heartbreak and upheaval. You might be feeling stabbed in the heart by someone or a situation. Grief is something to never take lightly. When it comes into life, it may feel like a never ending process. It hits you like a brick wall, or sometimes like an avalanche.
The queen of coins is a nurturing figure with some degree of structure. This entrepreneurial spirit calls you to embrace your dreams and business ideas, and to watch your finances. Sometimes a good way to work through difficult emotions is by keeping yourself busy or learning a new skill. Nurture yourself by getting a plan together and moving forward. Another idea is to reach out to a trusted friend, therapist or mentor for help. You don’t have to do all this alone, and sometimes friendship can heal you quicker than you can do alone.
Three of swords rx shows that you will overcome this feeling but you must let go of the past in order to heal. Avoid repressing your feelings because this will just cause more pain down the road. Even though you may feel that you have to face this pain alone, talking really does help. Don’t suffer in silence, or distance yourself from those you love. Everyone faces hard times at some point in their lives, even if its been a while, reach out to your loved ones. Keep pushing through, you will come out the other side of this.
