What exactly is an incarnation objective? That’s the first thing that may pop up in your mind when you see this. It means many different things to people. It can be the thing you need to know right now, the moment that you receive your reading. It can be a reading that keeps unfolding and revealing things to you as you go along your spiritual journey. It could be a reading for a specific set of situations/circumstances that keep recurring in your life – like Ground Hog Day – or, a theme in your life.

An incarnation objective is ALL of these things.

In the Ausarian (Khamitic) tradition that I first studied about this, the incarnation objective reading was done within hours of a child’s birth. Then, it was up to the parents to create a mini-thesis detailing what the child’s incarnation was about using various books to assist in the interpretation (at least 2, or 3). Then, in the Ausarian tradition, the name of the child needed to be added into the mix to show that even the child’s name was assisting in helping the child in achieving their incarnation. It was a beautiful system of integration of spirituality at its core in one’s life.

The last step was to share portions of the incarnation objective write-up with the spiritual community at the next full moon ritual meditation where the child would be introduced to the community and the child’s name would be revealed for the first time.

In writing this, I realize how this may sound – highly idealistic and beautiful – it was. It was a great support system for all involved to help the parents, and the growing child, to be gently guided and directed by a supportive loving network of people so the child grows up understanding and knowing on a very deep level what their incarnation is all about.

Okay, now let’s get to the word incarnation. This is just another way of saying one’s lifetime. What have you come back to do, or to learn this lifetime. The supposition is that we have several lifetimes and this is just one of them; that we come back over and over to learn the nuances of a certain area of life and dive deep into that one area.

I bet you’re saying, Yeah, okay, I follow. But, it’s just me. I don’t have a community around me to do all this and I am not a wee babe any more! (Alright, maybe you didn’t say it just like this but, you get the idea! )

Yeah, I get it. You’re not part of a group that does this. But, you are reading this article. You are in a virtual community of people many of whom are Oracle and Tarot readers. You yourself may have a divination tool that you are comfortable with – do the reading for yourself! Or, have someone you trust do it for you.

You can also think of an incarnation objective as a life path, or a destiny reading. These are different names of pretty much the same reading. You can find these types of pick a card readings on YouTube. However, they are general readings, not specific to you.

As a person who knows her incarnation objective, I watched many life path, and destiny readings online. (I’ve even done one on my YT channel.) For the ones I watched, it was pretty amazing to see how several of the videos picked up on an aspect of my incarnation objective. I felt it; those pieces resonated. However, there were parts that were not part of my incarnation. I had to parse out what I knew to be my IO. Not one of the videos encompassed my entire incarnation/life path reading.

You too can gain insight from these general readings. However, it is best to have your own specific reading that is done for you (maybe even by you…) so that if you choose to watch a general destiny reading, or two, you too can see what applies to you, and your life AND what to let fly.

Remember, however you get the reading done, make sure you have a few pages worth of notes, observations, and what specific cards are pointing to. If you can have some specific life situations that are pinpointed for you to look at, watch for, in your day-to-day life, this helps to focus your attention on those areas. It is these areas that you can take into quiet reflection/meditation to help you to do the opposite of what you may normally do (the thing that keeps you locked in a rut!!!).
